About us

T-Media is an independent, public interest media company in Kyrgyzstan. The TV channel launched in 2019 and quickly gained public trust through investigative journalism, fact-checking, and analytical reporting.

T-Media’s origins trace back to the Tairjan Tursunaliev Media School. This media school was established in 2016 with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and was aimed at developing quality and responsible journalism in Kyrgyzstan.

In 2018, the media school’s founders, trainers, and experienced journalists from Osh came together to establish T-Media, an independent news outlet pursuing no political or commercial interests and operating independently from the state.

Daniiar kyzy Daiana

"T-Media" Editorial Director Has been working in the field of journalism for over 6 years.

Was a journalist and social media producer at T-Media TV channel. Also participated in Internews's media literacy and anti-disinformation project "Mediablockpost" (now Chekít Media), has been leading the Tairjan Tursunaliev Media School since 2022, and has been serving as Director of T-Media since 2025.

She is the winner of several national journalism competitions. Winner of the "best video" award at the Osh Video Quest 2019 competition organized by Prague Civil Society. Recipient of the special prize of the Ulan Egizbaev Award for best journalistic investigation. 3rd place winner in the "People and Their Government" category at the "Umtuluu" competition organized by Internews (2023). 3rd place winner in the "Active Person" category at the "Umtuluu" competition organized by Internews (2022). Organized by the Media Support Center and UN Women.

2nd place winner in the Gender-Sensitive Journalism Contest. Awarded 2nd place in the "Environmental Sustainability" category of the Monitoring for Justice project funded by the European Union (2025). 1st place winner at the AGILE: Tech4Good hackathon (2025).

Ayshagül Eldiyar kyzy

Ayshagül Eldiyar kyzy Journalist, Editor and Data Journalist

Despite being new to the field of journalism, she pays special attention to covering everyday current issues in society and citizens' appeals.

Her main goal is not only to bring raised problems to the public's attention, but also to contribute to their resolution. She previously studied in the "Television" program at the Institute of Journalism and Communication of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn with top grades. Currently a student at Osh State University majoring in journalism.

She aspires to become an investigative journalist in the future, aiming to produce fact-based, impartial and impactful reporting. She is a graduate of trainings organized by "Idea", "European Union", "Novy Ritm", "Interbilim", "Internews" and the Factcheck.kg editorial team. She is also a recipient of honorary certificates and letters of appreciation from the Osh City Mayor's Office and municipal enterprises in 2025.

Aizhamal Payzildaeva — journalist and SMM specialist at T-Media TV channel. Currently a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Journalism at OshSU. Works as a journalist alongside her studies.

She has participated in several competitions and trainings to strengthen her knowledge. Won 3rd place in the "Journalism in the Era of Advancing Media Technology" competition organized by OshSU, and is the recipient of numerous other awards. Graduate of trainings organized by "Idea", "European Union", "Novy Ritm", "Interbilim", "Internews", and the Factcheck.kg editorial team.

Adina Almazbek kyzy

Journalist, Reporter

Adina Almazbek kyzy graduated from Osh State University with a degree in journalism. Currently works as a reporter at T-Media TV channel. Has 1 year of experience in journalism, previously worked as a reporter at Osh Pirim TRK.

Certificates and qualifications:
She participated in the USAID and JSI volunteer program, gaining experience in public health and conducting information campaigns (2022)
She also successfully completed the "Universal Journalist School" training organized by Internews Kyrgyzstan (2023)

Urustamov Bekmyrza

Journalist, Reporter

Urustamov Bekmyrza is a 4th-year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at OshKU University. Currently works as a journalist and reporter at T-Media channel. Previously gained editorial experience in journalism in 2023. Worked as an HR manager in the ENAKTUSKUMU team.

Volunteered with the Children of the Earth program to plant 3,000 juniper trees in landslide-prone areas of Alai district. Successfully completed the OSCE media literacy training on AI.

Азыркы учурда Ош мамлекеттик университетинин журналистика адистигинин 4-курсунун студенти. Университет ичиндеги бир катар сынактардын жеңүүчүсү жана ошондой эле 2024-жылдагы Мелис Эшимканов атындагы коомдук фонд Кыргызстандагы студенттер арасында уюштурган эссе сынагынын 2-орунунун ээси.

Андан сырткары ОшМУнун мобилдүүлүк программасы менен Астана шаарындагы Л.Н.Гумилев атындагы Евразия улуттук университетинде журналистика адистиги боюнча 5 ай окуп келген. Ал жакта ошол эле университет жаш акындарды колдоп чыгарган «Сыр сандык II» ырлар жыйнагына ырлары киргизилген. Ал эми “Поэзия ордосу” көркөм-адабий коомдук бирикмесинде мүчө болуп, ал бирикменин “Жети дубан акындары” аттуу 6-7-китептерине ырлары чыккан.
